As the semester draws to a close, many of Memorial’s fine arts groups will be performing Christmas concerts for the first time at the new school.
Choir will be performing on Monday, Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial auditorium. The show will include performances from each choir class.
Choir director Melanie Coons invites everyone to come see the choir concert.
“You should come because we’re featuring really pretty holiday-themed music,” Coons said. “We’re going to have a guest celloist from orchestra and our drill team is going to be doing a cute, Santa-themed kickline dance to one of our songs.”
Orchestra will be performing on Thursday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. in the Memorial auditorium. The show will include performances from every orchestra student, with multiple different instruments being featured.
Band will have a concert on Monday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m. in the Memorial auditorium. The band will be split into two groups, performing three Christmas-themed performances apiece, with a performance from the jazz band as well. Guitar will have its concert on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
All three concerts are free and students are encouraged to attend and support their peers.
